Officers from the Kirkby Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates. Kingsway Park, Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby in Ashfield on Friday 24th October at 10:00am.
Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Between 10.40am and 2.30pm on Wednesday 15 October in Beacon Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, a ground floor flat was broken into via a back bedroom window and a power drill, bottle of whisky, bottle of wine, some chocolates and ten antique walking sticks were stolen. Burglary Other Around 4.46am on Friday 10 October at Co-op Food Ltd. Nottingham Road, Selston two males, dressed in black and wearing Halloween masks, attempted to break in damaging the boiler room door. They ran off when a car entered the car park. Around 11.30pm on Monday 13 October in Laurel Grove, Kirkby in Ashfield, two males, wearing brown coloured clothing and holding a B&M Bargains bag, tried to force a shop window open with a crowbar but were seen and sped off in a car. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Between 9.00pm and 10.00pm on Tuesday 14 October at the Forest Tavern, Skegby Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a white iPhone 13 Pro in a green and black case was stolen. The phone had cracks on the front and back. Criminal Damage Between 8.00pm and 9.00pm on Friday 10 October in Sherwood Way, Selston, some youths threw eggs at a property, hitting the front window and damaging the conservatory roof. At 11.49pm on Sunday 12 October in Manor Crescent, Kirkby in Ashfield, a house window was smashed and a vehicle damaged. Around 11.49pm on Sunday 12 October in Manor Crescent, Kirkby in Ashfield, a grey Ford car was damaged. A large hammer mark, big dent and a split to the door. Between 10.10pm and 11.26pm on Monday 13 October in Wollaton Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, the windscreen of a grey Vauxhall Astra car was smashed. ASB Between Noon and 5.30pm on Sunday 12 October at Hallams Farm, Blidworth Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, five motor bikes have driven over the farm and damaged land and crops. They came from the golf course next door. At 7.45pm on Monday 13 October in Lathkill Drive, Selston, a report of five males and one female, 12/13 years old, causing a disturbance inside and outside the shop and pestering customers for alcohol. One male was wearing a mask.
